The Parish Centre

St Kentigern's Parish Centre is located on Newton Drive, Blackpool. Telephone number (01253) 396520.

The Centre was opened by the then Parish Priest, Fr Gerry Farrell and members of the Parish Council in July 1973.

The aim of the Centre is to further the social and religious life of our community here at St Kentigern's.

From the very beginning the importance of families using the Centre was underlined. The Centre consists of one large room & bar plus 3 separate meeting rooms. They are the Upper Room, the parish room and the committee room. These rooms are used for parish meetings such as the RCIA Group, PTFA, KSC, and CWL etc. as well as other local community groups. Membership is available at an initial payment of £5 followed by £1 per annum thereafter.

The Centre is open on Sunday lunch times and each evening from 7.30pm - 11pm. However, the hours can vary depending on any special occasions when extensions can be applied for.

The Centre can be hired for private functions such as weddings, funerals, baptisms and parties.
